2025 Communication Arts Photography Shortlist
In April 2025, my work was shortlisted in the Communication Arts Photography Competition, one of the most prestigious global competitions for creativity in photography. Photos are selected by an internationally representative jury of distinguished creative directors and photographers. Out of 1,906 submissions, 372 entries were shortlisted. Among those, 19 were student works, which included my piece. This photograph captures the balance between strength, agility, and grace embodied by the modern dancer.
Riverside Art Museum Installation 2025
In May through June 2025, my artwork was showcased at the Riverside Art Museum. The collection highlights the stunning scenery of Zion National Park in Utah, utilizing both film and cyanotype techniques to explore the park’s views, textures, and atmosphere as part of God’s creation. Through curating this project, I discovered that creating photographic art involves embracing imperfections, making the process itself deeply meaningful. Much like photography, life’s flaws can possess beauty, and God often shapes these moments into powerful testimonies.

CBU 2024 CAVAD Spring Show
In April 2024, my work was selected for inclusion in California Baptist University’s spring show for the Department of Photography and Visual Arts. My collection explored the movement of dancers through an abstract lens. Dancers employ every muscle in their bodies to craft art, while conveying the illusion of effortless motion. This body of work captures the essence of dance as it unfolds within the form of the dancer.
